Zachary Profozich, who is accused of shooting Indiana University student Schuyler Bradley dead in Tuscaloosa, is an engineering graduate from the University of Alabama.

The shooting happened at around 1:30 a.m. In the field around the University of Alabama, known as the Strip, on October 16. Schuyler Bradley is 19 old.

Police assume that Profozich and the victim were in an altercation that led to the shooting, and state that The Strip or the University are not constantly threatened.

Early Life And Education

According to his LinkedIn page, Profozich is a resident of Los Angeles and a recent graduate of the University of Alabama.

The Bloomingtonian records that, on September 17, Profoozich was arrested and charged with speeding in Fayette County, Alabama.

Profozich says on his LinkedIn profile that he graduated from the University of Alabama in August 2020. Between May and August 2018, Profozich worked in Singapore for an automation firm. More recently, Profozich said that he worked at The Bear Trap rooftop bar in the Strip neighborhood as one of the support staff.

Murder Charges Full Details

In relation to the shooting, Profozich, 22, is facing murder charges. When he was arrested on the afternoon of October 17, Profozich was initially charged with attempted murder. On the morning of October 18, Bradley passed away at Druid City Hospital Regional Medical Center.

At approximately 1 a.m. Today, a close friend of mine told The Bloomingtonian that Bradley was placed on life support and was not meant to survive. He died at the DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa in his mother’s arms about 2 a.m. Today, for his medical costs, according to an update posted on the GoFundMe website.
