Rayshawn Lamar Bennett, professionally known as YFN Lucci, is an Atlanta, Georgia-based American Rapper , singer, and songwriter. He was born on 18 February 1991. In 2004, He signed a record deal with Think It’s A Game Entertainment, and released Wish Me Well, his debut mixtape. He released his second mixtape in 2016, Wish Me Well 2, which featured the hit single “Key to the Streets.” His debut extended play, Long Live Nut, came out in 2017 and peaked on the Billboard 200 chart at number 27.

The first single from the EP, “Everyday We Lit,” featuring PnB Rock and produced by June James, has peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 33 and has so far become his highest chart single. In 2018, Ray Ray From Summerhill released his first studio album that peaked at number 14 on the Billboard 200.

Lucci signed a record deal with Think It’s A Game Entertainment in December 2014, and released Wish Me Well, his debut mixtape. He released the Wish Me Well 2 mixtape in February 2016, which topped out on the US Billboard 200 list at number 183. The hit single of the mixtape, “Key to the Streets,” featuring Migos and Trouble, peaked on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart at number 70. 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne and Quavo featured in the official remix version of the song. “Welcome to the road” has been included in the 2016 list of the 50 Best Hip-Hop Songs of XXL magazine and the 2016 list of the 60 Best Songs of Vibe magazine.

In September 2016 Lucci was featured on the cover of the “Hidden Hip-Hop Gems of Summer 16” issue of Rolling Out magazine along with Migos, 21 Savage, Kap G, Young Dolph and Zaytoven. Rapper Meek Mill released the track “You Know” featuring Lucci in October 2016 that peaked at number 9 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart and appeared on Mill’s DC4 mixtape. Billboard magazine included Lucci on its 10 list of Hip-Hop and R&B Artists to Watch In 2017 in December 2016.

A music video shoot in southeast Atlanta was abruptly ended on Wednesday night when somebody began shooting.

Investigators have not determined whether the shooting at Martin Street Plaza Apartments was related to the filming, or any of the artists involved, an Atlanta police spokesman said Thursday. Scene witnesses told officers they were filming a video for Atlanta rapper YFN Lucci, the spokesman said. The rapper, whose legal name is Rayshawn Bennett, was not on the scene when the officers arrived, and according to police, he hasn’t been in contact with them since.
