Greensboro police are on the lookout for the person responsible for the shooting death of a teen boy named Traveyon Deandre Hairston on Saturday night.
Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Ellington Street in response to a shooting, according to a news release.
He was 17 years old.

Traveyon Deandre Hairston was found with a gunshot wound when police arrived, and he was brought to a local hospital, where he eventually died from his injuries.
Police were called to the 2000 block of Ellington Street at 11:19 p.m. Saturday in response to a shooting.
Hairston, who was classified in stable condition at the time, was located by officers. EMS transported him to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5’10 in height, and wearing a gray sweatsuit, according to officers.
The shooting was one of two that took place in Greensboro on Saturday night.
