He had quite a radio history that spanned nearly 50 years. His smooth voice and style introduced classic R&B and the new sounds of music to his radio listeners.

Career
With his talent and longevity in the radio industry, WDAS radio personality Patty Jackson was really impressed.
He spent time working at WRTI, our sister station WUSL (Power 99), as well as 105.3 WDAS, Temple’s college radio station, and will forever be part of the fabric of who we are.
In 2018, shortly after we had its 45th-anniversary celebration in October 2017, Tony left the airwaves here at WDAS for health-related issues. He’ll be missed sorely.

For the past two years, Brown has been sick.
