He was 75 years old.
Sunshine Brown is the wife of Tony Brown.
The couple has one daughter named Kelli and two sons named Jason and Julian.
With his talent and longevity in the radio industry, WDAS radio personality Patty Jackson was really impressed.
He spent time working at WRTI, our sister station WUSL (Power 99), as well as 105.3 WDAS, Temple’s college radio station, and will forever be part of the fabric of who we are.
In 2018, shortly after we had its 45th-anniversary celebration in October 2017, Tony left the airwaves here at WDAS for health-related issues. He’ll be missed sorely.
It is with great sorrow that today, at the age of 75, the 105.3 WDAS family announces the passing of the legendary Tony Brown.
For the past two years, Brown has been sick.
