Teshaun Hightower, a Tulane University basketball player, has been charged with murder following his arrest on Saturday April 25. Hightower is currently being held without bail in the Henry County Jail after being linked to a murder in Stockbridge, Georgia, ESPN reported. His appearance in court was scheduled for Sunday morning.
He was born in Lithonia, Georgia on November 21, 1997, though he comes from Baltimore and is currently playing with the Tulane Green Wave Basketball Team. He had indulged in the sports earlier in his childhood and began playing basketball from his school days. In Suwanee, Georgia, he used to play ay Collins high school and also continued his passion during the university studies.

Teshaun Hightower Career
Teshuan played in 2017-2018 for Georgia Bulldogs before transferring to Tulane in 2019-20. He had a breakthrough season in previous season playing from Tulane as he finished with an overall average of 15.9 points and 4.6 rebounds which made him the Green Wave lead scorer. Besides that, he’d been aspiring to reach the NBA world and register his name for the NBA 2020 draft.
He shared a post about his vision on Instagram, and said,

I want to thank my family, coaches, and teammates/brothers for going to battle with me every day throughout this past year. A huge thank you to Green Wave nation for accepting me into such a prestigious family. With that being said, I will be entering my name in the 2020 NBA draft while maintaining college eligibility.
Charged With Murder Detail Explain
Hightower was charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, weapon possession during a criminal commission and battery. On Sunday, Tulane University announced the dismissal of the basketball player from the team following his detention, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sport reported.
On April 8, 24-year-old Devante Anthony Long was shot at an apartment complex in the morning, and later died at the hospital. The incident occurred at 600 Spindletop Way Building in Stockbridge according to police.
The Henry County Police Department released on April 24 the names and pictures of six suspects under investigation for Long’s murder. This included his brother Jeffrey Hightower, Teshaun Hightower, Kelvonie Burney, Tyreek Famer, Tobias Gresham and Antonie Gresham.
Five of the six men, including both the Hightower brothers, are under custody according to ESPN’s report.
