A man named Shakur Pinnock died in hospital after his e-scooter was involved in a collision with a car.
Shakur Pinnock was badly injured in a crash on June 12 in Wolverhampton.
He was placed on a life support machine while in an induced coma after suffering a shattered skull, cut arteries, punctured lungs, and a broken jaw. His 19-year-old girlfriend was critically hurt as a passenger on the e-scooter when it crashed with a VW Golf.
He was 20 years old.

Shakur, who was in intensive care at the time the photo was taken, tragically died as a result of his injuries.
On Saturday, June 12, he was taken to a Birmingham hospital after colliding with a Volkswagen Golf.
Shakur’s skull was fractured, his arteries were severed, his jaw was smashed, and his lungs were punctured. Chanté Hoosang, who was a passenger on the scooter at the time of the accident, was also gravely injured. Shakur’s mother, Celine Fraser-Pinnock, wrote on Facebook that her son died in hospital on Friday afternoon, according to Birmingham Live.
She said: “I miss you so much. My beautiful, gorgeous baby.
“He succumbed to his injuries and passed away at 3.48pm.”

Celine, 56, previously stated that medics debated cutting off Shakur’s life support since “everything they could do” had been done.
She also described how she pleaded with physicians to leave the machines on in order to give her kid “a little more time to recuperate.”
