Sebastian Eubank, the son of boxer Chris Eubank, died just days before his 30th birthday, according to his father’s reps.

Sebastian had followed in his father’s footsteps and had pursued a career as a professional boxer. Eubank Snr, a British middleweight, and his family were “devastated” to learn of his son’s death in Dubai, where he resided.

Sebastian, Eubank Snr’s third-eldest child, leaves behind his wife Salma and son Raheem, who was born just a month ago, according to Eubank Snr. Sebastian was found dead on the beach after drowning, according to the Sun newspaper.


He was 29 years old.

Eubank Snr said in a statement: “Sebastian grew up in Hove in England but in the last few years made his life in Dubai where he had a wide circle of friends and was a leader in the adoption of a healthy lifestyle and of alternative therapies.”

He added, “As well as being a personal trainer and professional boxer, Sebastian was also a deep thinker who liked to challenge accepted wisdom.”

“He was loved and respected by all who knew him and will be forever in the thoughts of friends and family. As a family, we now kindly ask to be given space and privacy to celebrate his life and remember the son, the brother, the husband, the friend.”


Sebastian, like his older brother Chris Jr, was born in Brighton before moving to the United States in 1991.

Sebastian is survived by his father, mother Karron Meadows, brothers Chris Jr, Nathanael, and Joseph, as well as his wife and children. His mother Karron said, “Our whole family is grieving at the huge loss of our son and brother, Sebastian.

While his brother, Chris Eubank Jr., a professional boxer, tweeted, “Rest easy little brother, I love you and you will be missed always.”
