During a domestic dispute on Sunday, a Fort Bragg soldier fatally shot his pregnant wife named ‘Sarah Lewis’ before turning the gun on himself in front of their 3-year-old daughter, authorities said.
The Fayetteville Police Department informed The Daily Beast that on Sunday night, Staff Sgt. Keith Lewis, a 31-year-old Army Special Operations Command member stationed at Fort Bragg, shot dead his 34-year-old wife, Sarah Lewis.
The mother-of-four was scheduled to give birth on Christmas Day to her fourth child.
She was 34 years old and her Husband ‘Keith Lewis‘ was 31 years old. The baby ‘Isabella’ is 3 years old.

Lewis later died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a nearby hospital. The 3-year-old couple who witnessed the horrific suicide murder was unharmed, but the unborn child, who was said to be named Isabella by the family, died.
Tammy De Mirza, Sarah Lewis’ aunt, said, “On a day such as this when you get the news that your precious thirty-four-year-old niece and her baby that was due on Christmas day has been brutally murdered by her husband”
The 34-year-old was in the army before she gave birth to her first child, De Mirza said and has since become a paramedic. The aunt added that Keith Lewis was Sarah’s second husband and had previously repeatedly threatened her life.
Police told The Daily Beast that officers responded to Keith’s 2016 domestic dispute call, but he was never charged.
Cumberland County court records show that Keith Lewis faced a misdemeanor charge of assault by pointing a gun charge in 2016, and his wife was identified as the victim. As demanded by the accused, the charges were withdrawn.
