I absolutely despise the framing of “as a father and a husband” as though getting married and having children is what it takes for men to consider women and women’s safety as important.
And to use the Sarah Everard case to make a tweet looking for votes for mayor? Totally vile. pic.twitter.com/SPDbxrOmYF

She was wearing a bright green raincoat, white and blue patterned jeans, green headphones, and a white beanie when she disappeared.
On March 5, police asked for the public’s support, saying they were “increasingly worried” about her whereabouts.
This awful Sarah Everard story has highlighted the lengths to which women go to to avoid being attacked by men. Some of the accounts are grim & those sharing them are then sent vile messages by… men.
We have got to collectively do something about this.
