A horrified mother named Sara Quintero caught the terrifying moment a knife-wielding intruder came into her home and allegedly attempted to ra*e her.

The brave woman was finally able to defend herself against her assailant, and she has since uploaded the footage on her Instagram account to warn others.


She is 25 years old.

Knifeman Wants Ra*e Her And How She Protect Herself

Sara Quintero, a psychology student from the municipality of Apartado in the province of Antioquia in northern Colombia, was at home.

The mother of one was filming a university assignment when an intruder broke into her home and she screamed. According to La Piragua, the man, who is brandishing a little blade, urges the woman to go down on her knees and then go to bed, which she refuses to do.

He leads her to a different room while her cries can be heard in the background during a physical battle. She returns alone a few moments later and switches off the camera.

She told City TV, “He tried to touch me and kiss me and he wouldn’t leave me and told me he was going to kill me,”

She went on to say that she was “grateful” that her child was not at home at the time, and that the conduct was planned. The suspect, according to local media, is a 22-year-old psychiatric patient at a local facility.

The man’s family has defended him, claiming he is bipolar, according to Distritt.com.

She Filmed Herself

The mother-of-one posted the 11-minute video to her Instagram account, which has since received over 3.1 million views, in the hopes of aiding authorities in catching the perpetrator and warning others.

She wrote, ”He entered my house to ra*e me!

“Everything was recorded because I was filming a video for a university assignment.”

“I was saved by the blessing of God and that I always fight for my life and my physical integrity. I managed to escape because I pulled myself away and dragged him down the stairs.”

“Help me so this does not go unpunished, as he apparently has a mental disorder and there is not much that can be done, we want to put pressure on the authorities by showing the facts so it does not go unpunished.”

According to El Tiempo, authorities claimed the incident was reported to Urabá Police.

Colonel Giovanny Puentes confirmed, “With the data that she provided and what can be seen in the video, the possible attacker is located,”

“This Sunday morning the young woman’s complaint was received after we were able to locate her.”

A police spokesperson said, “The evidence that has been collected will be delivered tomorrow (Monday) to a prosecutor who is guiding the case and the case is under investigation,”

“At the moment it is known that the young woman did not suffer any damage, is in good health and is expected to receive psychological attention to face the attempted ra*e.”
