“Friends, I’m well, I’m calm. I’m trying to avoid thinking about them and instead I’m focusing on what needs to be done,” Oliveira wrote on Facebook, adding that she gave officials in charge of the meticulous operation a DNA sample.
According to the news outlet, the Brazilian native, who was visiting her mother in Colorado when the tragedy occurred, stated her Italian husband’s family would submit DNA samples from Spain.
Oliveira wrote on Facebook, “I can’t get emotional right now otherwise I will fall apart,”
Carolina Lara, a friend of hers, started a GoFundMe campaign, which raised up to $31,000, according to the Herald.
Lara claimed her distraught friend was finding solace in the outpouring of love from friends, and that her sister was in Miami to help.
