He said there was “much confusion in this day and age in my perspective,” citing “the ongoing COVID crisis, unemployment, rising National Debt, division within the political sphere, rumors of war, and the like” in another article.
He added, “my faith is one of the only things that has been able to carry me through these times and my faith is centered on the belief of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan as Jesus, the Messiah, the final divine reminder in our midst.”
He made references to the Black nationalist group Nation of Islam in some of his Facebook messages, as well as the “end times,” the anti-Christ, and government “mind control.”
Brendan Green told the Washington Post that his brother had become violently ill in their Virginia apartment on Thursday and had texted him that he intended to become homeless.
Green was unknown to local police and the US Capitol Police, and the attack is not believed to be linked to terrorism, according to officials. Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman said the suspect rammed his car into two officers before hitting a barrier at a press conference.

Robert Conti, the chief of police in Washington, DC, said: “Clearly this was someone who was actively trying to get to whoever or whatever.” Former CIA covert operations officer Michael Baker predicted that there would be “a lot of speculation” about the motive for the assault and that the possibility that the perpetrator was a far-right supporter would “jump.”
He did, however, speculate that the timing of the attack might “indicate a mental health problem.”
Since the House and Senate are currently in session, no lawmakers can be seen in the building.
US Capitol Attack
There are few specifics on who he was so far, but an investigation is underway to ascertain the motive for the attack.
Green lived in Covington, Virginia, and was initially believed to be from Indiana.
He was unemployed, and he posted on Facebook that the previous few years had been “tough,” and the last few months had been “tougher.”
He was enrolled in a part-time MBA online course at Florida State University, and records show he recently traveled to Botswana and South Africa, but investigators have yet to determine whether or not this is connected to the Capitol attack.
