Two of the king’s daughters, however, have questioned the will’s validity.
After Prince Misuzulu was announced as the heir to the throne on Friday night, another member of the royal family, Prince Thokozani Zulu, stood up and challenged the recognition of Prince Misuzulu as the heir.
He said that the king’s will did not indicate who will succeed the regent. Shortly after the announcement, Prince Misuzulu had to be whisked away from the conference. he said, “The Royal House should decide because the will did not say who should take over from the queen. The matter of the regency … had to be gazetted. We wish to know if that was done,”
