She played Janie Egins in the UPN series, Eve, for three seasons. Sadly, at the young age of 53, She died on Monday morning.

Career, Education And Early Life
Desselle-Reid, the daughter of Thelma and Paul Desselle, was born in Alexandria, Louisiana.
She graduated and attended Grambling State University at Peabody Magnet High School. At Grambling, she developed a strong interest in the theatre and appeared during her time there in many productions.
In several films, Desselle-Reid has starred, most recently in Madea’s Big Happy Family, and has starred as a guest in Family Matters. In B*A*P*S, she’s best known for her role as Mickey.

Actress Holly Robinson Peete revealed that Reid had passed away that morning on December 7, 2020. There was no further information given.
The news was also shared by a website that seemed to be owned by Reid. The news of the actress’ death has also been confirmed by news outlets.
Via her Instagram account, a statement shared read: “It is with extremely heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beautiful Natalie this morning.
“She was a bright light in this world. A queen. An extraordinary mother and wife.”
“Her diverse career touched so many and she will be loved forever.
“Naturally, we are grieving and processing this profound loss and we thank you in advance for respecting our privacy at this extremely difficult time.”
