In unsuspicious circumstances, Mick Norcross, the father of former TOWIE star Kirk, is reported to have died. His body was reportedly discovered at his home in Essex.
Police reported, “We were called to an address in Brentwood Road, Bulphan shortly before 3.15 pm on Thursday 21 January. Sadly, a man inside was pronounced dead. His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
In the early seasons, he joined the cast of TOWIE, starring alongside his son and Mario, along with familiar faces such as Mark Wright and Lucy Mecklenburgh.
As the owner of Sugar Hut, he was a large part of the show, which became the place to be among the true royalty of Essex. He dated some of the actresses, including Chloe Sims and Maria Fowler, during his time on the show.
In 2013, he left the reality show, announcing he had enough and citing fears that it was hurting the brand of Sugar Hut.
Today, he was unfortunately found dead at home, and the police say they don’t treat his death as suspicious.
Mick sent out a heart-wrenching final tweet earlier today at 7.17 am, writing: “At the end remind yourself that you did the best you could. And that is good enough.”
Gutted to hear this. You were a still are a good man Mick. You supported me when I lost my Dad to #lungcancer
Such a sad loss, they say that it’s always the good ones that seem to leave us too early, and this is definitely true with you Mick. Rest in Peace 💙 pic.twitter.com/kXHx8zKndu
