This is the chilling moment a bloodied knifeman brags about fatally stabbing a woman in a hotel knife rampage.
Mert Ney faces the death penalty for the murder of Michaela Dunn on August 13, 2019, in Sydney’s Central Business District. A disturbing video captured by Ney on the social media app Snapchat was shown in court today.
According to ABC News, Ney’s relatives left the room before the explicit material was played, but the victim’s mother, Joanne Dunn, remained seated in the public gallery.
Prosecutors characterized his reign of terror as “premeditated murder and mayhem” in documents filed with the NSW Supreme Court. On August 13, 2019, about 1.30 p.m., Ney was first seen on CCTV entering Michaela’s apartment, before leaving less than half an hour later.
Mert Ney had issues of theft, damage, DV, drug abuse, mental health problems and 2 months ago had been let off by a judge after being caught with knuckledusters. The NSW government and their bureaucrats were negligent in their duties of keeping the public safe. #auspolpic.twitter.com/SeKn5R1Uwq
