The knifeman revealed his blood-soaked face, pants, and shoes in a video shot by Ney as he escaped through a fire escape, before saying: “I actually f***ing did it.”
He added: “Look at my f***ing hands… Bro… I’m not lying… Look at my f***ing pants.”

According to The Australian, the knifeman sat in court and watched the videos with little emotion, resting his head on the palm of his hand at times.
According to ABC News, Ney’s relatives left the room before the explicit material was played, but the victim’s mother, Joanne Dunn, remained seated in the public gallery.
Prosecutors characterized his reign of terror as “premeditated murder and mayhem” in documents filed with the NSW Supreme Court. On August 13, 2019, about 1.30 p.m., Ney was first seen on CCTV entering Michaela’s apartment, before leaving less than half an hour later.
Mert Ney had issues of theft, damage, DV, drug abuse, mental health problems and 2 months ago had been let off by a judge after being caught with knuckledusters. The NSW government and their bureaucrats were negligent in their duties of keeping the public safe. #auspol pic.twitter.com/SeKn5R1Uwq

Moments after slitting the victim’s throat, a CCTV video caught him seemingly taking a selfie in the driveway.
He then dashed out of the alleyway and into the city, launching his bladed rampage. Lin Bo, who survived the stabbing, was stabbed as a result of the attack.
For the assault on Ms. Bo in October last year, Ney pleaded guilty to Ms. Dunn’s murder and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
