An Atlanta lady named Mariam Abdulrab was kidnapped and killed in front of her own home on her way home from work early Friday morning, according to police.
Mariam Abdulrab went missing around 5:00 a.m. while on her way home from her shift at the Revery VR Bar in the Midtown neighborhood, one of two places where she worked as a bartender, according to a witness who contacted 911.
Abdulrab was recognized as a kind, compassionate, and considerate lady by those who knew her.
Her former employers, two bars, have announced that they will remain in close vicinity to grieve her passing.
She was 27 years old.
Shot And Killed
According to authorities, a woman was pushed into an SUV near the Chosewood Park neighborhood, and police received reports of shots fired in a nearby area of southeast Atlanta about an hour later.
By 10:00 a.m., the Atlanta Police Department had discovered Abdulrab’s body near the area where the shooting had been reported.
According to local reporters, the APD said, “During the investigation, investigators determined the shots fired call was likely related to this incident, and investigators were responding to canvas the area when a witness called at around 9:55 a.m. and advised of a deceased person found near 1907 Lakewood Avenue,”
He then slammed into a Buick near Griffin, according to Georgia State Patrol, and both Brinkleyand the Buick’s driver were sent to the hospital. Khalid Abdulrab, Abdulab’s father, told CBS46 that the suspect was caught amid a high-speed chase in Griffin.
