Lil Marlo Career
Lil Marlo grew up alongside famous rapper Lil Baby in the Bowen Home projects around the 9th ward in west Atlanta. He was signed to Quality Control at the end of 2017 and released his first mixtape entitled The Wire. He posted music videos through his YouTube channel Marlo PFK and performed with his PFK crew in clubs all over the United States.
Co-founder of quality assurance Pierre “Pee” Thomas has expressed his support for Marlo, saying:
“Marlo’s been in development with QC these past two years and this summer is when people will really see his incredible talent. He is one of my favorite artists and he’s speaking that real shit.”

ATLANTA — The police have confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that Lil Marlo, an Atlanta rapper, was killed in a shooting on Saturday night at I-285. Atlanta police responded to a collision near the overpass of Benjamin E. Mays Drive at 11:30 p.m .. And the 30-year-old driver found himself dead inside.
Police said when the driver, now known as Rudolph Johnson (Lil Marlo) was shot the car was heading to the south. Lil Marlo was signed with the label Quality Control and scored high with several tracks, including “1st N 3rd,” “F****em” and “9 + Z6ne = 1’5.”
