According to police, a Florida man named Kolby Parker was arrested on Sunday for fatally stabbing and mutilating his grandfather after taking the man’s ears from his pocket while being questioned by deputies.
Kolby Parker told the Lake County Sheriff’s Office that he was smoking marijuana with his 77-year-old grandfather, Ronald Wells, when the septuagenarian assaulted him, according to WFTV.

Fatal Stabbing Of Grandfather Full Details
Parker informed the investigators. Wells attempted to stab him with a knife, but he was disarmed and the weapon was used against him. Parker took two ears from his pocket and said they belonged to his grandfather while speaking with investigators.
Parker then began attacking and attempting to disarm the deputies, who were able to apprehend him and take him into custody.
Investigators searched the property and discovered a bloodstained baseball bat in the corner of the porch and a butcher knife with blood streaming from it on the kitchen table.
Parker confessed to deputies that he battered Wells with a baseball bat, stabbed him with a knife, and cut off his ears, according to WFTV.

According to arrest records, Parker was arrested and charged with murder, two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer, and two counts of resisting arrest with aggression.
