In the 2017NYC Grand Final, Titmuss had come through Manly’s junior representative teams growing up and famously scored the match-winning try for the club. In 2019, he was named the 2019 Manly Jersey Flegg Cup Players’ Player.
Keith Titmuss, a member of Manly’s top-30 NRL squad, died at the Royal North Shore Hospital after falling ill on Monday morning during a Sea Eagles training session.
Before being transferred to the Royal North Shore Hospital, he was carried by ambulance to the nearby Northern Beaches Hospital. A short time later, he died.
International Rugby League is saddened to hear of the death of Keith Titmuss.
On behalf of the Board, the membership and the international rugby league community, we send or sincere condolences to Keith’s family and friends on their sad loss. https://t.co/kgm7I4DSm6
MORE: So sad. He was a genuine rising star of the game. Experienced what has been described to me by club officials as a “body cramp” whilst stretching after session. Doctor treated him at training and taken by ambulance to hospital. Thoughts are with his family.
