Trevino’s ex-fiance Christopher Fox, the children’s father, called Henderson police to request that they ‘investigate a medical issue’ at her home.
Trevino’s former lover, Christopher Fox, was said to have discovered the children, according to police reports. He called the cops and said Trevino had left her phone and a note indicating she was planning to commit suicide. According to the police report, she held the boy underwater for 3 to 4 minutes till he died. Police said, “Jovan tricked Christopher into playing on his stomach in the bathtub by giving him a pair of glasses and using them to see better underwater,”
Trevino then allegedly killed Gihanna by submerging her head in the tub in the master bathroom. She then fled the scene after allegedly attempting suicide.
She will be extradited to Nevada in the coming days, according to the Henderson Police Department.
Trevino had a temporary order filed against Fox, according to an arrest warrant released by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, so he didn’t go into the house the night of the drownings.
‘Things did not feel right,’ he said when he phoned the cops. Officers arrived at the house and discovered the two youngsters were ‘beyond rescue,’ and both were pronounced dead at the scene. Their deaths were described as “suspect” by authorities at the time.
Trevino was not caught until she allegedly confessed at a hospital hundreds of miles away. Trevino claimed she took a large quantity of Allegra before consuming Theraflu, three beers, and a shot of tequila, according to the arrest warrant. She then ran a bath for Christopher, her son.
Trevino is being kept held without charge. She has not yet entered a plea, and there is no attorney listed in court records who is permitted to speak on her behalf.
As of Wednesday night, the children’s father had put up a GoFundMe memorial page, which had raised $14,500 of the $7,500 target.
