Jon Courtenay is a singer who won British/Britain’s Got Talent’s Series 14 and earned Ant & Dec’s Golden Buzzer. He’s from Mossley in Manchester, and since he was 5, he has been playing the piano.
He is the father of two great boys, and for much of his life, he has had a career as a bit of a showman.
Jon describes himself on his YouTube account as “I’m a piano-playing funny guy who writes songs, parodies, does stand-up and loves singing songs written years before I was born.”

Since he was just five years old, Jon has been playing the piano.
An early interest in magic led him to tour as a comedy magician in hotels and theatres and took him abroad as an act to Spain and Cyprus as well as a few cruise ship tours. He traded magic for piano over the years but maintained the cheeky family-friendly humor.
He identifies his shows as “a truly original experience for every audience with music from jazz to classical to rock & roll along with original songs and parodies plus hilarious tales of his family, relationships, and his life traveling the world.”

Musical comedian Jon Courtenay has won Got Talent 2020 for Britain.
Comic Steve Royle and the brother-sister musical duo Sign Along With Us joined him in the top three, but it was Courtenay who finally won the popular vote with his funny yet poignant songs.
In the aftermath of his win, Courtenay conceded. “I was trying not to think about [winning] because I am really bad at hiding disappointment,”
“This morning for the first time… this sounds really dramatic, but I woke up with an idea for a song for the Royal Variety Performance. I wrote it down and I tried not to think of it as a sign, because that would be too much pressure, but… [it’s] just amazing, I can’t actually believe it.
He added: “Thank you, this has changed my life and my family’s life.“
