From 1999 to 2015, John Preston Solinger AKA Johnny Solinger was best known as the lead vocalist of the American rock band Skid Row. He was born on August 7, 1965, in Dallas, Texas, U.S.
Solinger was the band’s longest-serving vocalist at the time of his departure, surpassing Sebastian Bach, who had been with the band for nine years.
He appeared on the albums Thickskin (2003) and Revolutions Per Minute (2006), as well as Chapters 1 and 2 of the United World Rebellion EP series, with Chapter 3 set to be finished with Solinger’s replacement, ZP Theart, on vocals.
