John Mario Ramrez was a former midfielder and manager for the Colombian national team. He was most recently the manager of Patriotas. He was born on 3 December 1970 in Bogotá, Colombia. Deportivo Cali, Deportes Tolima, Independiente Santa Fe, Boyacá Chicó F.C., and Deportivo Pereira were among his club football clubs. Ramrez launched a lawsuit against his previous team, Deportes Tolima, alleging that his contract was terminated without cause.
Ramirez’s claim for compensation was dismissed by the Colombian Supreme Court in 2008. He also played for Colombia’s national team. In 1997, he played in a friendly against Norway for the national squad.
