“She told a brilliant story and always made you roar with laughter with her sharp wit. She will leave behind her husband Paul and two children, who she thought the world of.”
“Janice loved the BBC and started her career as a station assistant at BBC Radio Merseyside in 1979, to complete it with the magnificent people at BBC Radio Wales.”
“Janice wanted it known she was so thankful to the NHS and all who looked after her there.”
I’ll post a fitting tribute at a later date. For now I’ll just say thank you Janice. You were a true friend who helped me at every opportunity. I love you unconditionally & will continue to do so. Loved going for lunch with Janice Long. Once I commented on a man wearing a cravat in the restaurant. I said I was going to start wearing one. The following day there was a gift box with cravat on my desk “with love from Janice”. How lucky we were to know her #janicelong pic.twitter.com/5LPBZx28MM
