Landra Gould is the wife of American lawyer and politician Harry Reid.
Representing 1987 to 2017, Harry Mason Reid Jr. was an American lawyer and politician who served as a United States senator from Nevada.
From 2005 to 2017, he chaired the Senate Democratic Caucus and served as Senate Majority Leader from 2007 to 2015.
Harry Reid was 82 years old and his wife Landra Gould is around 73-75 years old.

Landra Gould, Reid’s wife, and he met in high school. Because Reid is not Jewish, Gould’s parents objected to the relationship because she comes from a Jewish background. When they were both in college, they eloped in 1959.
Reid’s net worth was stated to be between $2.9 million to $9.3 million in 2014 financial disclosure reports.
The majority of Reid’s financial worth was invested in municipal securities and property and mineral rights in southern Nevada and Arizona, Reid and his wife’s liquid assets were managed by a blind trust.
According to reports, Gould’s parents were first against the relationship because of their different religious backgrounds, but they later grew close to Harry. Reid explained in a 2006 interview, “As our relationship built, her parents came to the realization that it could be something serious and it was a very difficult time, the last few years of courtship because they, of course, wanted her to meet somebody Jewish.”
In 1959, Harry and Landra Reid eloped and married, and their marriage lasted nearly six decades until the former US Senate majority leader’s death.
In the 1960s, the couple packed their belongings and relocated to Washington, DC, where Reid enrolled in law school at George Washington University.

Reid died of pancreatic cancer on December 28, 2021, in his Henderson home.
Harry Reid’s wife broke the news in a statement on Tuesday (December 28th). The statement read, “I am heartbroken to announce the passing of my husband, former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.”
“He died peacefully this afternoon, surrounded by our family, following a courageous, four-year battle with pancreatic cancer.”
President Joe Biden, as well as previous presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, paid tribute to Reid after learning of his passing.
Chuck Schumer, Patrick Leahy, Mitch McConnell, and Chuck Grassley, among others, paid tribute to him in the Senate.
