Leachman was married to impresario George Englund in Hollywood between 1953 and 1979. The actress Mabel Albertson was her former mother-in-law.
The American film editor, film director, producer, and actor was George Englund. He was born on June 22, 1926, in Washington, D.C., U.S.
He was 91 years old.
As his mother was Mabel Albertson, who made a name for herself as a TV actress in the late 1960s and through to the mid-1970s, George was a member of Hollywood royalty.
He remarried to Ken Englund, whose surname was adopted by young George, after divorce from his parents.
George Englund And Cloris Leachman
He married Bonnie Graves on April 10, 1980. In 1953, Cloris and George were married and 26 years married. In 1979, they divorced but were friends all their lives.
George had a friendship with Joan Collins in the 1950s. The affair is recorded in the autobiography of Cloris 2009, which George co-wrote.
George died in Palm Springs on 14 September 2017.
The couple shared five children, most of whom went to show business with their parents. Named Bryan, Dinah, George Jr., Morgan, and Adam.
He married actress Bonnie Graves in April 1980, following the divorce between George and Cloris. Two children, Graves and Max, were there but in 1992 they divorced.
Cloris Leachman Death Cause
It was confirmed on January 27, 2021, that Leachman had died from natural causes at the age of 94 at her home in Encinitas, California.
