Félix Verdejo Sánchez AKA Felix Verdejo is a professional boxer from Puerto Rico who competes in the lightweight division. He competed in the 2012 Olympics as an amateur for Puerto Rico. He was born on May 19, 1993, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Verdejo Sánchez surrendered to police in May 2021, pleading guilty to the murder of his pregnant girlfriend. After being charged with the death of a 27-year-old woman suspected to be pregnant with his child, a federal judge ordered Puerto Rican boxer, Felix Verdejo, to be held without bail. On Saturday, Keishla Rodriguez’s body was discovered in a lagoon.
Verdejo is accused of abduction and carjacking that resulted in Rodriguez’s murder, as well as murdering an unborn child. During the hearing on Monday, he remained silent.

According to a criminal complaint filed by the FBI, Verdejo punched Rodriguez in the face and injected her with an unspecified substance purchased at a public housing complex in San Juan, Puerto Rico’s capital.
He then allegedly bound her arms and feet with wire and tied her to a heavy block before throwing her off a bridge on Thursday morning, according to the study.
He is then accused of shooting at her body. According to the lawsuit, Verdejo was assisted in kidnapping and killing Rodriguez by an unidentified witness. A federal grand jury has 30 days to hear the case from the US government. Verdejo’s next court appearance has yet to be set.
Rodriguez, who went missing on Thursday after failing to show up for work at an animal grooming company, was discovered on Saturday in a lagoon near San Juan. On Sunday, officials used dental records to identify her. Verdejo and his lawyers have previously declined to comment, and police have said that the boxer initially refused to cooperate and answer questions.
Rodriguez’s family said that she was expecting Verdejo’s child. The victim’s mother, Keila Ortiz, told reporters that Verdejo called her daughter on Thursday and said he was going to her house to see the results of a pregnancy test. Ortiz said, 0
