Stephenson, according to the agency, “was located with multiple severe injuries from the animal bites, and deputies immediately began administering first aid. The victim was identified as 59-year-old Deann Stephenson, a resident in the area.”
Stephenson’s son, Keaton Clark, who claims to have served as a pastor on Facebook, wrote: “My mom deserves justice! Please be praying for me and my family, this is so heartbreaking and so tragic for us to go through.”

Deputies responded to a welfare check in the 24800 block of Cunningham Drive in Porter, Texas, on February 15, 2021, at around 12:30 p.m., according to the Sheriff’s Department.
The department published details about the dog attack in a press release on March 2, 2021. The release said, “Upon arrival, deputies discovered an adult female had been attacked by a group of mixed-breed dogs while walking down the street,”
The family claims that the dogs bit them, according to Click2 Houston, “previously attacked other neighbors, including a child.” Stephenson was rushed to an emergency room by ambulance and cared for her injuries. Montgomery County Animal Control was called in to help. According to the Sheriff’s Department “took custody of the animals and issued several citations to the dogs’ owner,”
