Dan Sur, a Mexican rapper, claims to be the first to have gold chain hooks implanted in his scalp. The information was shared earlier this week on the young up-and-TikTok comer’s profile, which has 1.9 million followers.
According to the New York Post, Sur claimed in one of his TikTok videos, “I have it as a hook that is implanted in my head and that hook has hooks and they are all hooked in my skull, under my skin,”
“This is my hair. Golden hair. The first rapper to have gold hair implanted in human history.”
He is 23 years old.
Sur debuted his new look in the music video for his single, “Oro,” on September 6.
According to LADbible, Caracol TV stated that he underwent an unusual surgical procedure in April of this year.
The price of the operation is unknown. He said, “The truth is that I wanted to do something different because I see that everyone dyes their hair. I hope not everyone copies me now,”
Implanted Gold Chain On His Head
Sur’s surgical stunt isn’t the only one that has caught the attention of rap fans this year. Lil Uzi Vert got a $24 million diamond inserted into his forehead in February.
The diamond was pulled from his forehead during his Rolling Loud Festival concert in July, it was reported earlier this week. According to TMZ, “I had a show at Rolling Loud and I jumped into the crowd and they kind of ripped it out,”
Uzi acknowledged that he still possessed the diamond, though it is unclear whether he intends to get it reattached.
