A woman named Chenna Jordan used a broom to beat a boy, causing him to get 22 stitches after his virtual teacher called, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, claiming he cheated on an assignment.
That’s according to the Sheriff’s Office of Escambia County, who said the child told deputies he was afraid and didn’t want to live there anymore, WKRG 5 notes.
She is 40 years old.

Police sad the virtual instructor of the child called on Monday at about 10 am telling Jordan the boy cheated on an assignment. The child said Jordan was angry and ordered him to do 50 penalty push-ups, the force said.
They added that he said that Jordan picked up a broom when he was doing pushups and hit his lower back. He stood up when he finished, and she apparently started to attack him, forcing him to put his arms up to defend himself.
He said she told him to put his hands down, and that’s when she reportedly struck him on the right side of his face with a broom, causing him to bleed. The police report states that Jordan took the boy to the hospital, where she told them he had fallen in the shower. He got 22 stitches on the side of his head for a slash.
Chenna Jordan is being charged with aggravated neglect of children.
