According to sources on July 1, New York rapper Biz Markie, 57, suffered a stroke and was in a hospice with major brain damage. On July 16, however, TMZ verified the rapper’s death, citing a family member who stated he died in a Baltimore hospital.
Tara Hall, his wife, is said to have held his hand as he took his final breath. The hospital staff was on hand to comfort Biz’s family, assuring them that he was battling his health issues valiantly.
