Anthony Iannucci, who died quietly at CHI at Temple Street this week, was remembered as “beautiful” and “kind.”
The TikTok star was born with Hallermann-Streiff Syndrome, a genetic disorder that impairs cranial development, growth, hair growth, and dental development, as well as causing respiratory problems.
He was 14 years old.

On TikTok, the brave Dublin youngster had earned over 1 million likes and was previously photographed with Simon Harris and Jason Byrne, among others.
Anthony’s cheery disposition and distinctive opening line of ‘Hey Guys’ became well-known on the video-sharing app.
Temple Street Hospital paid tribute to the “outgoing” and “lovely” youngster on Twitter.
They composed, “On this sad day we would like to pay tribute to our wonderful, funny, sweet friend Anthony Iannucci, who passed away in CHI at Temple Street this week.”
“As you will all know, Anthony spent much of his life in and out of the hospital, making friends everywhere he went.”
“He was known for his loving, outgoing personality and his sense of humor. He will be missed and will never be forgotten. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.”
“Sending our condolences to his mam Janet, sisters Leann and Sandrina, and all of his family & friends.”
Minister for Higher Education Simon Harris expressed his sympathies to Anthony’s family and friends, calling him “exceptional.”
