Julius Dubose, better known by his stage name A Boogie wit da Hoodie, is a rapper and performer from the United States.

He has contracts with Atlantic Records and his own company, Highbridge the Label.

His stage name is derived from the character “Ace Boogie” from the 2002 film Paid in Full, and pals nicknamed him “A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie” since he always wore hoodies.


He is 25 years old.

He was born on December 6, 1995, in New York City, U.S.

Rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Arrested

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, was forced to cancel his appearance at a UK festival on Saturday after being arrested by police in London for an alleged incident two years ago.

It’s unclear what the hip-hop star was charged with, but when he turned to Instagram to apologize to his followers for the canceled appearance, he stated that he had been arrested.

He wrote in a post, “SMH sorry to everyone who came out to see me at wireless, London police locked me up before I went on stage for something I was accused of 2 years ago,”

He added, “ I’m OK and I’ll try my best to make it up to you guys.”

Cops appear to have arrested Dubose at the festival, according to an Instagram video. Official charges have yet to be made public.

A representative for the Metropolitan Police confirmed to the Daily Mail that he was arrested at the festival, but the rapper was not named in the statement.

According to the police, “On Saturday, 11 September, a 25-year-old man was arrested at the Wireless Festival in Crystal Palace Park,”

“The arrest was made by Met Police officers at the request of Greater Manchester Police.”

“The man was released on bail to attend a Greater Manchester police station at a later date.”
