She collaborated with Gauff in September 2018 to win the double title of the girls at the US Open.  She qualified at Wimbledon in July for her first Grand Slam main draw tournament. McNally recorded her first WTA main draw singles wins at the Washington Open at the end of July and beginning of August with a run to the semi-final, beating Zhu Lin, Christina McHale, and fourth seed Hsieh Su-Wei.

They won the competition in doubles, beating in the semifinal third seeds Miyu Kato and Anna Kalinskaya, and in the final fourth seeds Maria Sanchez and Fanny Stollár. Sunday, Aug 1, 2019, the couple continued to compete in doubles, reaching the third round with a 6-3, 7-6 (9) victory over Nicole Melichar and Kveta Peschke's No. 9 seeds.
